Dr. Yousef M. Aljamal ist im Flüchtlingslager Al-Nusierat im Gaza-Streifen aufgewachsen. Inzwischen lebt er seit Jahren ausserhalb von Palästina. Abgeschlossen hatte er seine Ausbildung mit einem MA an der Abteilung für internationale und strategische Studien der Universität von Malaya, seinen Doktortitel erwarb er am Nahost-Institut der Sakarya-Universität in der Türkei.
Den Kontakt zur Heimat hat er dabei nie verloren und berichtet seit vielen Jahren u.a. auf den Plattformen von Electronic Intifada und Mondoweiss*.
Am 28. Januar wird er im Café Palestine seine Gedanken über Gaza - Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft - mit uns teilen.

Dr Yousef M. Aljamal grew up in the Al-Nusierat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip. He has now been living outside Palestine for years. He graduated from the Department of International and Strategic Studies at the University of Malaya and obtained his doctorate from the Middle East Institute at Sakarya University in Turkey.
He has never lost touch with his homeland and has been reporting for many years on the platforms of Electronic Intifada and Mondoweiss*, among others.
On 28 January, he will be sharing his thoughts on Gaza - past, present and future - with us at Café Palestine.
